The Fourth Element Arctic Hat features two layers of high insulation and low bulk fabric to provide exceptional thermal protection. Designed with comfort and utility in mind, the minimalist construction delivers outstanding performance under closely fitting neoprene drysuits and is also suitable for use underneath membrane and trilaminate suits.

Utilizing a combination of fast-wicking, high insulation fabrics, the Arctic creates a micro-climate around the diver, keeping the body dry and warm. The high-density inner fleece offers superior insulation and comfort, while the outer layer has a water-repellent finish for a snug fit. The Arctic performs effectively with less loft due to better air management within the fibres, reducing cooling rates without trapping air and affecting the dump valve.

The Arctic retains significant thermal performance even when wet, making it possible to complete dives comfortably after minor drysuit failures. Tested by the Norwegian Navy, British Antarctic Survey Dive Team, French Marines, and Danish Navy, this hat is built with high-tech fabrics and has been proven in extreme conditions from the Arctic to the Antarctic.
